Serving - God's Work, Our Hands
Service is essential to our life together as followers of Jesus. We feed people. We shelter the unhoused. We help people do their laundry. We bring flowers to people who are lonely or sick; we pack school bags for students in local schools and in foreign lands; we host an annual blood drive with the American Red Cross; we support Lutheran World Relief, Lutheran Disaster Response, and Lutheran World Hunger
SOCIAL JUSTICE
We are committed to the biblical mandate to seek justice, love kindness and to walk humbly with our God (Micah 6:8). With Global Refuge, we support immigrants and refugees that come to our community. As a Reconciled in Christ community, we advocate for and provide a safe space for those who are LGBTQIA+. We long for an end to racism, exposing ourselves to painful histories, acknowledging our own biases, praying for healing, and advocating for racial equality and racial justice. We are also growing in our accessibility to those with disabilities.
