Vacation Bible School

Each summer, we have a special learning opportunity for children AND adults. The theme changes from year to year, but always offers opportunities for learning & fellowship. 

First Lutheran Youth, or FLY

First Lutheran Youth, welcomes anyone in grades 7-12 to join us as we serve, worship, and learn more about God’s incredible love for us and the whole world.  Typically, we meet on the 1^st and 3^rd Sundays of each month following worship, although we often also participate in other special events such as our annual Grace Car Wash, lock-ins, roller skating, and gaming nights. In addition to gatherings at First Lutheran, FLY also participates in Virginia Synod and church-wide events and retreats, such as Kairos, Winter Celebration, and Confirmation Camp.
